On campus lodging options include air-conditioned single and double-occupancy rooms (10-15 minute walk to the Stamp Student Union, the site of the meeting). While not hotel-quality, these are traditional accommodations with shared bathrooms on each floor. We are making these arrangements available to offer attendees low-cost housing near the event. Please note, if you are traveling with a spouse or opposite-gender partner you will need to choose an off-campus option (hotel) as these accommodations are separated by gender. Guests will have the option to purchase a parking permit during the registration process.
Breakfast will be provided beginning the morning of Monday, August 6 through the morning of Friday, August 10.
Please note: Due to limited availability for on campus housing during the summertime, no refunds will be given after Sunday, July 1, 2012. There will also be no refunds for early check out.
What to Expect in Your Room When You Arrive
All rooms are assigned by gender. We do not offer mixed gender rooms. Please refer to the hotel information on the conference website for additional lodging options for couples.
- All rooms are air-conditioned.
- Each bedroom is equipped with a twin bed, a bureau, desk and chair for each participant assigned to the room.
- Standard linen is provided for guests and includes 1 pillow, 1 pillowcase, 2 sheets, and a blanket.
- Towels may be exchanged daily.
- Daily maid service is not provided. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned prior to the group's arrival.
- At the hospitality desk, our friendly student staff help guests:
- Check in and check out. Check in is after 3pm and check out is 11am.
- Exchange linens.
- Obtain general information about campus.
- Pick up and return room keys.
- Pick up parking permits and campus maps.
- Report maintenance issues and any other inconveniences.
