Poster Dimensions

The maximum poster board area available per poster is 4' (height) x 8' (width), which equals approx. 120 x 240 cm. Posters can be smaller than the maximum available poster board area. Push pins and velcro will be provided.

Opening Reception

• Meeting starts with an opening reception at 6:30 pm on Sunday in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

Banquet Cruise

• The banquet cruise for ICN will be very special. It includes dinner, dancing, and entertainment on an evening cruise in a glass-enclosed boat on the Potomac River. This boat is designed to travel under the low bridges over the Potomac and provide views of the monuments and buildings of Washington that are unparalleled. You will see the sights of Washington in early evening and at night. Indeed, the cruise is a spectacular way to see many of the sights of the U.S. Capital from a unique perspective. • The banquet cruise will take place Thursday evening of the meeting. Participants will have the afternoon off to explore Washington DC and its many sights, and then take local transportation to the cruise departure point (information will be provided to all who sign up for the cruise). Following the cruise, buses will be provided to bring you back to the UM campus and hotels.
• The cost of the banquet cruise is $96/per person including return bus. Accompanying persons are most welcome, and the cost is the same.
• Odyssey Dinner Cruise Dress Code: "For women, cocktail wear, a dress or dressy-casual attire is appropriate. For men, collared shirts and dress pants are recommended. Nice, designer jeans are acceptable. However, casual jeans, t-shirts, athletic shoes or flip flops are discouraged."

Conference Dress Code

• The DC area is hot, so participants are welcome and encouraged to wear light clothing. Casual clothing, shorts, and open shoes are acceptable in all sessions. Be advised though that all lecture halls are air-conditioned and can feel very cool compared to the outside. So we recommend dressing in layers or bringing cardigans.
